Alexandra Teague
Alexandra Teague is mostly recently the author of Spinning Tea Cups: A Mythical American Memoir (Oregon State University Press, 2023). Her previous books include three poetry collections—Or What We’ll Call Desire, The Wise and Foolish Builders, and Mortal Geography, winner of the Persea Books Lexi Rudnitsky Prize and the California Book Award—as well as the novel The Principles Behind Flotation. With Dean Rader and Brian Clements, she also co-edited Bullets into Bells: Poets & Citizens Respond to Gun Violence. Alexandra is a professor at University of Idaho where she co-directs the MFA program.
